The local economy
Our museum visitors and anyone who attends our events supports the local economy by using the tea shops and pubs in the town for refreshments.
Volunteering, jobs & education
Existing and new volunteers could get hands on with the project supporting the different elements and ensuring the events went well.
Arts, culture & heritage
The drop ins and family activities were well attended and boosted our approaches around storytelling and reflecting creative responses to conflict in new unespected ways; hands on activities were key in helping people focus on the collections and the stories they have to share.
