Hi, we are Kirstie and Derek and we purchased Seion Chapel just over a year ago with the intention of keeping this historic building in the community rather than it going to a developer as we are both very community minded. Derek, my partner, works as a carer for a vulnerable person in a local communty and he is currently completing a degree in photography. I work in a community role as a Local Area Coordinator and help people to avoid reaching a crisis in their life or to help people to recover if a crisis has already happened. I support people and their families to help them realise a better life and support inclusive, welcoming and self-supporting communities. I am also studying a degree in Health and social care, part time.
We are both motivated and passionate about preserving local history and bringing people together. Between us we have four children, two dogs a cat and a tortoise and as you can imagine lead very busy lives but look forward to new projects.
