Help us provide 50 families with food twice a week during lock down. Through this campaign, we hope to continue this vital support throughout December.
Following the Government’s decision to undergo another lockdown, we at MM decided it was time to step in for our CoMMunity by providing daily FREE meals for children and low-income families. Throughout the lockdown, we will support our CoMMunity with free take-away food bags to ease their grocery shopping. Mercato Metropolitano is providing the food at cost and helping with the preparing an distribution of the food. Through a generous donation of £3,000 by Grosvenor we have been able to start from November 10th but we need your help to keep it going. We will be providing FREE food bags for collection on Tuesdays and Thursdays in our MM sites (specifically Elephant & Castle) until December 3rd. If we raise enough money we will extend this for the entire month of December. Spacehive are waiving their fees for this project so all donations (except a 1.2% GoCardless transaction fee) will go towards providing food.

The COVID lock down is difficult for everyone but for some families the economic impact has been devastating. As a community we need to pull together so children do not go hungry during lock down.
