Community garden in the heart of Morden

A garden for all, a place for people to participate in and/or come and sit. We dream of an oasis in the centre of a busy town. Creating a garden that would benefit peoples' health and well being.

Our first fundraiser was fabulous and raised £1767 years ago

We had a wonderful tea, coffee and cake sale fundraiser on Friday and had many positive responses to the plan for us to create a community garden and raised £176. It was a pity that it rained in the morning, as we would have been outside. The local council had rented a room in the church to hold a meeting and joined us for coffee and cake afterwards. Thank you for your support everyone, we would not have managed it without the generosity of friends baking and ladies coming to help serve and wash up, great team effort. We have decided that we will hold a fundraiser on the last Friday morning of each month.

Fund raiser: tea, coffee and cake sale Friday 14th June 1030-13007 years ago

We are holding a tea, coffee and cake sale at Morden Baptist Church on Friday 14th June between 10.30 am to 13.00pm. We are hoping to kickstart our fund raising to create a community garden on the green space beside the church. Everybody is very welcome. We look forward to seeing you on Friday.
