Comberbach Parish Council represents the residents of Comberbach which is a village in the North Cheshire green belt with a population of under 1000 people and 425 dwellings. We have a Primary School in the village which has around 200 pupils.
We have 8 elected Councillors, all of whom care deeply about our community and work tirelessly to maintain and improve the facilities we offer. Our team is supported by a Parish Clerk and RFO who share our commitment to our residents.
The hub of the village is the Recreation Area and car park which sit alongside the thriving Memorial Hall and Bowling Club.
The Recreation Area was originally built in 2002 and was paid for by a mixture of a special Parish Precept and grant funding. In the intervening years we have used the Precept to upgrade the equipment to improve its accessibility and provide more stimulation and enjoyment for our younger residents.
We are delighted that the facilities are used not just by the children of our village but also by the wider community, including regular visits from Rosebank Special School.
