The idea
We are aiming to raise money in order to fund the ongoing maintenance of the playing facility in order for us to be able to provide a valuable sporting resource to Clifton and the surrounding areas. In a period of no income, there are still costs associated with the upkeep of the playing square, outfield, associated machinery and the pavilion building. All works are carried out by unpaid volunteers.
What we'll deliver
- A facility safe and ready for players / members / supporters / visitors of all ages
Why it's a great idea
To try and restore some normality in life after the Lockdown as been eased by providing a safe social / sporting space to enjoy. Not only to continue developing our young aspiring cricketers but helping to bring together the local community once more.
Steps to get it done
- Ensuring our playing facility is fit for purpose once recreational cricket is allowed to return
