Helping Church CC pay for critical overheads, ground maintenance and key running costs during the Covid 19 crisis
Due to the current crisis the cricket season is postponed indefinitely and all of our fundraising activities have been cancelled. Our bar, which is a major source of club income, has been closed since March and is likely to remain so for the foreseeable future. Although the Club has reduced expenditure to a bare minimum it still has monthly overheads that need to be paid and there are ongoing ground maintenance and repair costs. The ECB has already kindly provided a small grant towards supporting the Club during this difficult time and will donate a further £100 if we meet our appeal target. However, more support is still needed and any assistance that members and followers can provide during this time would be greatly appreciated. Your donation will help to ensure that your Club survives the current crisis and is ready to open again as soon as it is safe to do so.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Once the current crisis eases recreational sport will be more important than ever, and playing and watching cricket will provide a much needed place for the whole community to come together.
