Askew Road Association is a volunteer run business and community association.
Our aim are:
To bring together business and community around Askew Road.
To make improvements to the area for the benefit of local businesses and community.
To mobilise grant funding and other financial and physical resources to enact the improvement plans.
To operate in a not for profit manner.
To activate and deliver free to attend events on Starch Green to the local community. These can be festive (Christmas carols, May Day celebration) or cultural (Askew Arts Festival)
This year's Askew Road Arts Festival helps to fulfil our aims by highlighting the wealth of talent around Askew Road, creating a destination to attract more people to use Askew Road, provides cultural experiences for our local residents and visitors, connects all sorts of people through the arts and creativity in a positive and rewarding way, helps our young people to engage and gain a sense of purpose
