The idea
Cheshire Streetwise Foodbank needs funding to keep the cupboards filled and families fed during these difficult times. Streetwise are a local community project working in the very heart of the community, listening to their needs and putting plans into action to provide the right support.
Cheshire Streetwise has been running since 2013, providing a voice for the people in our community who may well go unheard without this support. They provide advocacy, counselling and practical food for those who are struggling. We listened to what was needed and matched that provision for them.
Run by volunteers who collect waste food from various outlets, and collect donations from Tesco stores customers. This funding will ensure we can provide balanced nutritious food parcels and meals throughout the year
