Somers Town Community Association is a Community Anchor organisation, with a 30 year history of delivering to the local community. Our centre is in the heart of the ward of St Pancras and Somers Town from which we deliver a 24 place nursery, the Somers Town Job Hub, CG3 Girls youth project, Somers Town youth group, Bloomspace cafe, ESol classes, Civitas afterschool club, Lyra dance group, Yoga classes, free space for community classes and space for TRA meetings. We work with over 80 different organisations/groups and lead 3 consortia/partnership locally inclusive of the St Pancras and Somers Town Living Centre Partnership, CG3 girls youth project and the Somers Town Job Hub. We also host Healthwatch Camden, Visually Impaired Camden, Camden Safer Neighbourhood Board and Good Gym.
We were the spearhead behind the Somers Town Neighbourhood Forum and remain heavily committed to the principles enshrined in the plan and the ensuring the community voice is heard.
More recently we have become a member of the Knowledge Quarter and have already worked on projects with the Francis Crick Institute, The Place, CSM and the British Library.
