The idea
Obviously the impact of the Corona pandemic has had a massive impact on the lives of many. No doubt you will have already donated to several worthwhile causes. However, at a time where we as a club should be settling into our new home, this has undoubtedly hit our finances hard.
This fundraising scheme is in partnership with the ECB. On raising a set amount, the ECB will automatically add £100 into our funds.
We're aware that a lot of you generously donated last summer and this is why we're not asking for large amounts of money this time around.
If everyone involved with Cannock Cricket Club could donate the money they would normally spend on match fees, training fees or at the bar, this would help the club tremendously.
What we'll deliver
- Funds will go directly to support our club and all of our teams.
Why it's a great idea
Usually by now we would have had our first few matches, outdoor training at the new ground and also the new intake of youngsters through the All Stars and Dynamo Cricket schemes. Events that we had planned for the Clubhouse have been put on hold and naturally that has left a shortfall in our finances.
