For over 50 years Burnley Youth Theatre has inspired young people in Burnley, East Lancashire and the surrounding areas to participate in high quality creative actitivies.
Nationally recognised as a leader in youth theatre, we are a charity with a purpose built theatre venue set within beautiful woodland just one mile outside of Burnley Town Centre.
We provide a wide vareity of inclusive and accessible arts programmes in our venue, in schools and in community settings.
Last year we ran over 700 workshops with nearly 9,000 young people participating in creative activities they would not ordinarilay have access to.
But... now we are seeking your support. We need your help to bridge the gap between our funding and the rising costs for our 'Connect' project for young people with special educational needs and disabilties.
These young people face additional challenges in their lives. We can help enrich their lives and support them in developing socials skills, buulding confidence and making friends through regular access to theatre-led creative activities.
