The idea
The proposal is to deliver a targeted community outreach project across Enfield aimed at engaging unemployed individuals and underrepresented groups within the built environment sector.
Through trusted, community-based engagement, the project will raise awareness of construction career pathways, challenge barriers to participation, and support individuals to take their first steps into joining the workforce. Participants will be guided into relevant provision including Skills Bootcamps, Adult Skills courses, and numeracy programmes to gain competency for the role of their choice.
The project is rooted in Altar Create CIC’s mission to build people not just fill vacancies, by equipping individuals with the confidence, awareness, and support needed to access meaningful career opportunities.
