Updates
Planning for the installation - and celebration - of the Hare on the square is underway. As so often with projects that involve many people and institutions, progress is slow, and the sculpture will not be in place next month as we had hoped originally. However, the sculpture is due to go into the workshop on 14 May, to be made ready for its final location and we expect to be able to give you another update soon and let you know when you will see it installed. Hold tight! With best wishes from Marjan and the Crowdfund team.
A huge THANK YOU goes out to all backers. Thats 160 of you!! You each played a part in the project that is going to see Sir Hare take pride of place in Rawtenstall's Town Square. There is a lot of work to be done bringing the sculpture back into the workshop, preparing the site, making a sign, creating an activity pack full of ideas for activities using the hare as a springboard for all local schools and groups working with young people, installing the sculpture and planning a launch event,....however....you have made it possible. You believed in it and all members of the campaign team are sincerely grateful. You're on the next stage of the journey with us and we will keep you posted. We hope that you can join us for the launch event which we hope will take place in May 2026 - somewhat depending on developments taking place on that same town square.
Brilliant news, thanks everyone!
