Once a month Bredon Village Hall will be open for parishioners to come, meet other people, keep warm and have a good meal.
Once a month, in Bredon Village Hall, people can come and meet other people, tackling loneliness, and have a good meal provided by local companies to stop them getting hungry, and warm up in the heated village hall. The money raised would cover the costs of the food and drink and any additional costs to running these events.

Tackle loneliness by meeting other people. Somewhere warm for people to come if concerned about fuel costs. A good meal provided if they are struggling with food costs.
Steps to get it done:
Depending if we get volunteers or not, we may have to pay for people to serve and clear up. Also, we might need to provide transportation to those less able to travel to the village hall.

The initial warm room took place on Thursday and it was well attended. The fish and chips went down really well. Our only concern was for those people who weren't there. I asked all the attendees to spread the word and let the team know if there is anyone (a neighbour) who they think could of and bring along to the next one.
Thank you all for your generosity. We have finally hit our target, and just in time! As the weather gets colder, the first warm room tomorrow will hopefully be well attended and give those struggling an opportunity to get warm, have a nice hot meal, and catch up with other residents. Wychavon will also be in attendance to offer advice for those with needs.
