The idea
Boston Youth Hub offers a welcoming environment for 12–19 year olds to relax, socialise, and engage in activities like playing pool, table tennis, darts, gaming on Xbox, or catching up on homework. Centrally located in Boston’s historic Pescod Hall, this Grade II listed building serves as a shared space tailored to young people's needs. Created by Tonic Health in collaboration with Boston Borough Council and the Police, the hub is open after school, on weekends, and during school holidays as a drop-in facility complete with a café providing drinks and light snacks. Entry is free and we aim wherever possible to keep activities free or at very low cost. The cafe does charge, but that helps us pay the staff and the bills to keep the building open, and we aim to keep prices affordable.
