Blythfest is a celebration of Blyth's Art and Culture. Over 2 weeks in June we will showcase the best of Blyth culture with an abundance of events, festivals, exhibitions, shows and workshops.
Blyth should be proud - it is a town with a huge array of artistic and cultural talent. In June this year we will bring it all together with a festival of music, drama, workshops and exhibitions. Happening in venues all over Blyth there will be something for everyone with live music, family workshops and history walks. We would like to raise funds for children's entertainment and street theatre to make it more exciting and inclusive. We are crowdfunding to cover the cost of hiring street artists to perform over 3 days.

Why it's a great idea:
Blythfest was initiated by 16 arts organisations, venues and individual artists in Blyth who wanted to bring something good to the people of Blyth, something they will remember and can continue year after year. We want to make local people proud of their town. We also want to get people from outside the area to see what a great place Blyth can be to visit, boosting the local economy by generating footfall and business.
