Thanks to your support the North of Tyne combined Authority have pledged the maximum pledge of £5,000 per project to our Cause. All of us at Blended Studios want to express our gratitude to your generosity and supporting what we do, it truly means the world to us and takes us much closer to reaching our target. Your pledges will help a lot of young people/adults in our community, so we take our hats off to YOU. We have reached 77% funded, so have a little way to go. Blended Studios are determined to provide a happy, safe and caring environment in which learning can take place for those in challenging circumstances. This environment will promote dynamic and supportive learning, meeting the educational and social needs of young people and adults; delivering an innovative education programme which is flexible and tailored to meet their individual learning needs and personality.

Our aim is for the Young People to ENGAGE, ENJOY and EXCELL, promoting confidence and self esteem along the way. By empowering our Young People so they may progress their educational and social development, gaining personal attitudes, abilities and resources that will inform their future choices and expand their life goals.

We believe the work undertaken with Young People at Blended Studios will inspire them into further or higher education and also in the longer term promote job prospects and greater social inclusion.

Education centred around Music, Art and design; capturing the imagination of our Young People and letting them express themselves through it.

The education based work we will be offering alongside our creative sessions - music, graphic design, events organising, photography, building a clothing brand etc. will be ASDAN. This will be in the form of short Courses (English, Maths & Expressive arts etc) & The Certificate of Personal Effectiveness (CoPE).

These Courses have been fundamental in engaging/ re engaging Young People due to the personalised nature to this style of learning. Confidence is built as each student seems to take a sense of pride and responsibility for their own learning, building their own portfolio and choosing their own path to completing it.
