At Blacksmith Muay Academy, we have a passion for Muay Thai that spans over two decades. With a background in both fighting and teaching this traditional martial art in the UK and Thailand, we have honed our expertise and are now ready to take it to the next level.

Our journey began with training our own son, who started at the age of 8 and went on to achieve numerous junior titles. Inspired by his success, we established Blacksmith Muay Academy. Since then, our academy has become synonymous with excellence, producing champions not only in the junior division but also in the adult category.

Beyond the realm of competitive Muay Thai, we have a vision that extends to our community's youth. Last year, we had the opportunity to work as youth workers in Birmingham for an organization called ACT CIC during the summer holidays. This experience opened our eyes to the potential of making a positive impact on young lives, specifically in the town of Walsall.

Drawing from our expertise and understanding of the positive influence Muay Thai can have, we aim to implement a range of programs that foster personal development, prevent crime, and create a supportive environment for young individuals.

Our proposed initiatives include breakfast clubs, which will not only provide a nutritious start to the day but also serve as a platform for interaction with young offenders. By offering them an opportunity to engage in constructive activities, we aim to divert their attention from negative influences and equip them with essential life skills.

Furthermore, our school holiday programs will offer a safe and structured environment for youth, empowering them through Muay Thai training. Through these programs, we seek to instill self-discipline, confidence, self-awareness, and respect for oneself and others. In addition, the camaraderie developed among students from different schools and colleges will break down social barriers and foster friendships.

With our experience, expertise, and passion for Muay Thai, Blacksmith Muay Academy is uniquely positioned to make a lasting impact in the Walsall community. By investing in the youth, we believe we can create a generation of empowered individuals who will contribute positively to society.
