Bewdley Youth Festival is holding a music competition on Saturday 12th July for all young people who live in the Wyre Forest district and are in full time education.
The competition is open to all young people 19 and under who are currently in full time education or training and live in the Wyre Forest area which includes Kidderminster, Stourport and Bewdley as well as the surrounding rural areas. There are prizes for the best solo performer, best duo, best group (2 or more performers) and the best original composition.
The competition is open to musicians from all genres, so whether you are a classical cellist or a beatboxer - if you're good you can win!

This is a great opportunity for young musicians to gain exposure and the experience of playing live in front of an audience.
The young people will benefit from working with professional sound engineers and receiving constructive feedback from the panel of judges, all of whom are connected to the music industry.
