The idea
Belbroughton CC exists to provide excellent opportunities for the local community to play and enjoy cricket. However the sustainability of the club is under pressure following the suspension of all forms of recreational cricket due to the Coronoavirus pandemic.During this crisis the Club must generate as much finance as it can because we will have no income from our bar and greatly reduced other sources of income which are used to meet our annual costs of maintaining the ground, its buildings and our equipment. It is for this reason we are asking members and the public to help the Club keep going by making a donation however small which will be used to pay for these expenses and guarantee cricket can be played at our ground when it is safe to do so . The impact of Covid-19 makes us realise how precious sporting clubs are. When we do get to the end of this crisis it will be important that clubs like Belbroughton are still operational and available for our children and the local community.
