The idea
As you are all aware, the effects of COVID-19 have taken their toll on everyone's everyday lives. This of course includes sports, which a lot of people heavily rely on to stay active, healthy and sociable. Like many sports clubs, Bedworth Cricket Club relies on income to maintain the grounds and the pavilion it's members and the general public enjoy visiting. Unfortunately the current situation has made this difficult. With a little help from the local community (who help make our club as special as it is) we can maintain our wonderful pavilion and grounds. We of course, look forward to welcoming you all back through our doors when it is safe to do so.
What we'll deliver
- Keep our grounds in a play-worthy condition
- Maintain the pavilion
- Our commitment to continue to promote junior cricket from aged 8 to 18 for the local youngsters
Why it's a great idea
Maintaining a club's grounds and pavilion is important. No only does it ensure that a safe place is provided for sports and functions but it also contributes to being able to offer a comfortable setting for social gatherings outside of sporting events.
