This project is to allow individuals to practice batting in a safe and socially distanced way, allowing cricketers young and old the chance to develop their game outside of matches.
Bingham Cricket Club will purchase at least one Pro Elite V Cricket Training Net (cost c.£200) to allow players of all sexes and ages to train in a meaningful way as an individual whilst group training and practice is not possible due to the Covid 19 outbreak. These Nets will of course be utilised after this - the more we raise, the more units we can purchase.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
This will allow members of our junior and senior male and female teams to practice meaningfully and safely as the chances are that team sports will not be played for the foreseeable future. This will keep players of all ages, physically and mentally active and allow us to offer a meaningful way of developing skills.
