The idea
We want to continue to hold a local family friendly LGBT+ pride event in Wilton park for local residents. After taking a break last year we want to make this year bigger and better than ever. It is still a free event but because we don't sell tickets we have to rely on fund raising to pay for everything, like the acts, a stage for them to perform on and those all important portable toilets! This year we are hoping to secure an internationally famous act to headline as well as our regular acts you have come to know and love. We also want to increase the amount of free activities for the kids, both sporting and arts and crafts so even if you are short on cash you can still have a great day out without it costing a penny. Free activities for the kids, free live entertainment for the adults, its a win win! With the world seemingly becoming a nastier place, these sort of events are more important than ever!

Why it's a great idea
It will help bring the local community together and let people who might be struggling with their sexuality or gender identity know that they are not alone, as well as supporting local businesses.
