The idea
Barrowby Juniors Cricket Club was a newly founded club in 2019. We had 35 children attend training sessions during the summer, aged 6 - 15 and one of our girl players, who had never played cricket before, ended up joining the Nottinghamshire County Under 11s!
Because all our income from Year 1 was spent on buying essential grounds equipment, the lack of any training due to Covid 19 is crippling us as a club - we cannot afford to service or maintain our equipment and would like to buy some junior training aids to help us if and when cricket training returns.
Quite simply, we will NOT be able to carry on without funding and we hope that you can help us deliver cricket to the young people in Barrowby!
What we'll deliver
- Essential repairs and maintenance to grounds equipment
- Junior training aids
Why it's a great idea
The benefits of this project will see Barrowby Juniors Cricket Club develop further - we were proud of the impact we had in Year 1 and think the future is bright - this funding will actively improve, revitalise and grow junior sport in the village.
Steps to get it done
