The idea
There will be no professional cricket until at least July, and amateur cricket is not likely to resume for some time after that, possibly not until after this summer.
We are working hard to maintain our two pitches, and other facilities which means that the club has bills to pay and no income.
The ECB will donate £100 to the club if we raise at least £100.
We want to ensure that our club remains a place for cricketers of all ages, their families and the wider community, and that we can get back to being a hive of sporting and social activity as soon as possible.
What we'll deliver
- Help pay for critical overheads during COVID-19 crisis
- Cover grounds maintenance and other key running costs
Why it's a great idea
As the cricket season has yet to get underway and all our usual fundraising activities are currently cancelled we have no income .. but we still have bills to pay.
We are working hard to ensure the club survives this crisis and with your help we will be open again as soon as it is safe to do so.
Steps to get it done
- Start crowd funding campaign
- Matching ECB funding level
- start planning for end of lockdown
