We are about to end the campaign now so this is a massive thank you to you all for your contributions - Big and small. We are truly humbled by the generosity we have seen along the ride and super excited to get back to work putting on the most inclusive and awesome parties in town ..................... This is also a reminder to all those who would like an opportunity to get involved ................... Sense Buddies is a brilliant initiative in East London that matches volunteers up with young people who have disabilities and want to party! Its a new scheme and they need volunteers now to get it going. SNAP! We hit the target! Way faster than anyone thought! The Bubble Club is here to stay! We are very proud to announce the success of our campaign and, with the help of all of your extremely kind souls, the exciting next phase Bubble Club is ready to go! Who thought we would reach the target that quickly?!! We sure didn't!! WOW!! Thank you all!! It has been a wonderful journey for all involved and a beautiful opportunity to let so many people know about the work we do and goals we are trying to achieve in our community. The feedback and support we have received along the way has been extraordinary. All of your messages, pledges, offers of support and help have blown us away and filled us with energy to keep on going! We also now have the support of the Mayor of London's team!! This is a fantastic endorsement of the project and we are also working on developing further sponsorships and partnership agreements with other supporting institutions which will hopefully mean a bouncing bubblicious future for all the learning disability population of East London and beyond for a long long time!! The people will party!! Please do keep sharing the campaign page though, all of your sharing and sharing has given this campaign life over the past month or so and we have 30 odd days to keep raising money which can be used to buy much needed DJ equipment, PA system, putting on more parties, paying for training, running DJ classes, Art materials, hosting radio shows, doing more outreach work and a bunch of other really important outlays that we have outlined in our OVER FUNDING plan. CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE WHO PLEDGED! YOU MADE THIS POSSIBLE! THE BUBBLE CLUB LOVES YOU ALL! (By the way - if any of you would like to know some information about how you can help people with learning disabilities in East London access social opportunities like the Bubble Club and others, we are working with Sense who have recently launched a befriending scheme and they are in need of volunteers. It would be around 2 evenings a month and is a really amazing opportunity to connect with someone in your community and go and do fun stuff together! - probably the best volunteer opportunity going really. If you haven't volunteered in general before, can't recommend it enough. TRY IT- ANYTHING!
