We will use the funding to buy equipment to maintain new square, Outfield & Outdoor nets. We also plan to improve the indoor pavillion facilities such as the team changing rooms, Toilets & kitchen.

The 2024 cricket season will be the clubs first season back at St Chads Park, Romford after 5 years. As a club we need to maintain the outfield & new cricket square and hence we need to invest in purchasing equipment to maintain the ground. At the same time, we need to purchase pitch covers, install new digital scoreboard and purchase sightscreens to play cricket in the Park. Next plan is to invest in improving pavillion facilities like painting, replace indoor carpet, improve kitchen facilities and improve Womans & Mens toilets facilities which are Clean and Safe. As a Club we are raising funds to make sure a minimum standard is met when we commence playing cricket at the park and start using the facilities of the pavillion. This project will bring re-creational cricket back to St Chad's Park. 1. The People who live very close by can benefit with this project 2. All Girls who are travelling to other boroughs to play cricket can join the club and continue playing sport. 3. All Adults can take up recreational cricket who currentl travel away from St Chad's park to play. 4. All Youth around the park can benefit from the facilities. 5. Local Busniness can benefit from this project as lot of Away teams visit the park can generate revenue to the park. i.e Parking, Food, Tea and Snacks & retail stores around the park. 6. Local cummunity can enjoy the sport

Aztecs Cricket Club was formed in 1986. When the club was formed the club has predominantly played social cricket on Sundays.
Aztecs cricket club is one of the oldest Cricket Club in Ilford, Barkingside (Fairlop). We are one off the well manged and well structured Club with an Active Committee in place to mange the day to day running of the Club.
HAMRO League is one of the well know Cricket League in ESSEX where most of well know cricketers play and move ahead in their cricketing career. Our Saturday 1st Team participates in HAMRO League, ESSEX and and our aim is to GET to Promote Premier Division of HAMRO ESSEX LEAGEU. We Aim to provide good Cricketing facilites to all members and our local community and encourage everyone to be active by taking cricket as a sport.
As a Club we have grown one Team to Sccessfully running 7 Teams over the weekend in a season. We have a very good local presence in Ilford and Essex. Our Next Major project is to move to St Chads Park, Romford situated off to A12 and in LBBD borough.
Once the Club's Moves to St Chads Park, Romford, we as a club want to improve Cricket Facilities at St Chad's Park, Chadwell Heath and Re-activate Park for playing Cricket. We want to do this by actively recruting local community members.We are already in touch with the local Community Group near the Park who are happy to help us in the project.
