Nature therapy art classes for our members to re engage with nature as we leave lockdown. We want to feel creatively and artistically connected with the outdoors
It has been a difficult year for everyone. Our nature therapy classes will be outdoor reflective time in green spaces in Church Street to deepen knowledge and skills in art inspired by nature. The afternoons will be spent together, outdoors enjoying nature's nourishment and immersed in the practice of environmental arts therapy. Our intention is to promote and integrate the mental and physical wellbeing of group participants. Touching in with our green spaces after a difficult year in lockdown. Engendering emotional growth through social interaction can be aided by a shared experience – through art making and engaging with nature.

Improved mental health and wellbeing. Appreciation for our local, green environment. Encourage creativity and improving the confidence of our members. Creation of beautiful art inspired by Church Street's green spaces

Thank you so much! I am overwhelmed by the backing we've received from Westminster Council and all those friends and people who donated us. We are determined to bring back women to the activities, to a healthy life and to believe in themselves. The summer will start for most vulnerable women in our community from today by being in the nature, create arts, enjoying, socialising and feeling good about themselves because of this grant.Thanks again, Halaleh Taheri
