We are an art studio aiming to bring together the local and creative community by running workshops and producing large scale co-designed artworks in Haringey.
We will empower the residents of Haringey to take ownership of their artwork and champion their community. We will do this through the following process. Artist Engagement - Bud Studio will use its network to identify artists to collaborate with. We will focus on local and emerging artists who would benefit the most from paid opportunities and visibility. Workshops - We will work with selected artists to develop a workshop programme that allows pupils at local schools, young people or adults the opportunity to be creative. The workshops will be delivered by Bud Studio and will act as a catalyst for the artist to design the artwork, defining themes and aesthetics desired by locals. Community Engagement - After the artwork is finalised, residents will be able to feedback on the design through an open call. The artist will then amend the design to align with the residents' feedback. Installation of Artwork - The artist will install the artwork with support from Bud Studio.

Residents are feeling alienated by the current period of development taking place in Tottenham. We want to give the local residents an opportunity to represent their community with pride. Unlike previous borough wide regeneration we want to ensure that Haringey’s sense of community isn’t just maintained, but heightened through this period of change. We will use art and workshops to exhibit Haringey's identity and bring people together. This will help add value to local businesses and organisations whilst improving their environment.

We have teamed up with the local community of Tottenham Marshes Bridge to bring an artwork to Carbuncle Passage. To cover a larger area of the wall, the community are adding match-funding to what we already have on their crowdfunding page 'Vibrant Mural -Tottenham Marshes Bridge' so please go and check it out!
We are now getting to the last bit of our project and will be installing the final few artworks over the next couple of months. We couldn't have made it to this point without all of your pledges and support, so thank you! Above is our very first artwork installed in this project by artist Agwa and inspired by the local rooftop band who entertained their local community during the lockdowns.
In October we hosted our workshops. The purpose of these workshops was to get input from Haringey residents for our final 4 x large scale artworks. We made beautiful artworks with local artists Matt Dosa, The Natural Craft & Phoebe Swan and had great feedback from participants for Art for Haringey.
