We want to create a new, green public space for Forest Gate in a previously underused site on the high street. The space will be open to all and tended by local residents.
Sorry this project was unsuccessful, we did not reach our fundraising goal.

About the Project Creator
The Emmanuel Church of England parish church was opened in 1852 and was one of the very first churches to open in the Forest Gate area. Prominently located on the Corner of the Romford Road and Upton Lane, it is just a few minutes walk from Forest Gate Station at the end of the high street.
It is a church with a reputation for seeking to care for its community - and seeks to be welcoming and inclusive. In addition to supporting it's own congregation, the church also hosts regular inter-faith initiatives and celebrations.
