By Adwick Warriors Football Club
Girls & Boys football team desperately need loos. Currently no loos or sinks for players comfort breaks! We encourage kids in enjoying football, playing local teams and weekly training sessions.
Currently we have a use of a playing field with no additional facilities. We would ideally like to be able to offer the children, parents, spectators and officials use of toilet and washing facilities. This also would allow kids to change out of muddy/wet kit after matches/training and on those cold rainy mornings nip to the loo! Visiting teams travel up to 1 hour to play so it would be good to be able to offer them a facility to pop to the loo, wash hands etc!
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
The kids play and train weekly and at the moment there is nowhere to go to the toilet/wash hands or change out of muddy boots etc. The provision would allow us to offer a better experience for the kids and also spectators. The season runs through the winter so there are some pretty cold wet muddy games where a facility as described would be a real god send. Girls football teams are very limited within the borough and this should help encourage participation.
Steps to get it done:
The football club runs on generosity of parents, friends and local fundraising activities.
