Wilbury Community Forum aims
To run by neighbours for our community a free Community Café and Information Hub and outreach services that offers learning opportunities, workshops, family crafts and activities, social activities such as Butterfly K knitting group, access directly to our local Councillors, offers information about services/resources in an accessible manner, a place where the residents can participate in local democracy, develop social networks, receive health/housing/money management/debt information linking to Black Squirrel Credit Union.
To offer resources that makes a difference to peoples lives within Wilbury Ward linking to Letchworth, North Hertfordshire and beyond for skills and resource sharing. Going on to develop community projects that develop skills for individuals/groups and bring organisations together to utilise social capital (our own skills and abilities) for community action.
