The idea

The Bee Kind Wellbeing Project is a Community Interest Company dedicated to providing accessible, preventative mental health and wellbeing support. We deliver free and low-cost sessions designed to reduce isolation, improve emotional resilience and create safe, supportive spaces within our community.

Our programme includes dedicated men’s mental health drop-ins, women’s circles, Blue Light wellbeing sessions for emergency service personnel, creative art-based workshops, music and drumming circles, breathwork, mindfulness and community connection events. We offer both in-person gatherings and online sessions to ensure accessibility for those unable to attend physically.

Every session is designed to be welcoming, inclusive and non-judgemental. Whether someone prefers creative expression, open conversation, guided relaxation or community connection, there is truly something for everyone. Our aim is simple: to make wellbeing a necessity, not a luxury.

Why it's a great idea

The Bee Kind Wellbeing Project will strengthen community connection, reduce isolation and improve access to preventative mental health support. By offering free and low-cost sessions, we remove financial barriers that often prevent people from seeking help early.

Participants will gain practical tools to manage stress, anxiety and overwhelm through breathwork, mindfulness, creative expression and supportive peer spaces. Dedicated sessions for men, women and Blue Light personnel ensure tailored support for groups who may struggle to access traditional services.

The project will foster belonging, confidence and resilience, while encouraging open conversations around mental health. By bringing people together both in person and online, we create a supportive network that promotes long-term wellbeing, early intervention and a stronger, more connected community.
