The project will incorporate themes around physical health, diet and nutrition and will include novel and exciting approaches towards physical activity such as dance mats which allow for collaboration and fun whilst undertaking moderate to vigourous activities alongside moderate activity via VR walks.

Children will be encouraged to walk to sessions and weather allowing, we will undertake moderate activity sessions outside with giant games, hula hoops offering engaging approaches.

Why it's a great idea

Our project will provide opportunity and benefit for home educated children to create an opportunity to meet and be friend other homeschool children regularly. Developing positive relationships will positively impact their social development and mental health/well-being.
We are aware that how educated children experience social isolation as they have few opportunities to interact with peers compared to those in traditional school settings. This can have a detrimental impact on the social skills and emotional development.
Addition the above, this project will allow for the development, augmentation of soft life and social skills alongside the acquisition of new skills and know how through the exposure to New and cutting edge technology alongside the development of technical skills.

As home educated children do not have formal/sports opportunities, a part of the project is to provide exercise and health and well-being benefits which children will taken into adulthood.
