We are building a new Community Hub to serve as 1st Ash Vale Scouts HQ and serve the local people. We need additional funds to kit it out.
1st Ash Vale Scout Group's new Community Hub building will provide for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Brownies and Guides. During the day it will serve the local community as a venue for community outreach programmes and local groups. We have the funds to build it, now we need the funds to make the inside as good as the outside! We primarily need covered bike storage to make it more attractive to cycle to the Hub.

Why it's a great idea:
Ash Vale needs more space for community groups to meet - and this hub will provide this. In addition it will support the development of the many children that pass through Scouts and Guides.
Steps to get it done:
We have funding from Your Fund Surrey in place, but due to increasing costs we are concerned this will not cover the "extras" to make the Hub truely attractive to local community groups. This is why we are asking for more funds. A quality bike storage is the start, to encourage sustainable travel.

Volunteer1st Ash Vale Scout Group is a member of the Blackwater Valley District within Hampshire Scouts. We have thriving Beaver, Cub and Scout sections and the group is one of the oldest and most active in the district.We have 2 Beaver Packs, 2 Cub Packs and a Scout Troop.
Project Owner: 1st Ash Vale Scout Group The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
