My name is Grazyna Chyla-Kaczmarek and currently I work as art, woodwork and ceramic teacher in Kildare Steinr School as well as being naturotherapist.
I am graduate from University of Fine Arts in Poznan, Poland, in Art Education in year 2005. Drawing, sculpture and ceramics are the areas of art that I love to explore. Since my graduation and even before that, during my studies I was working in many educational institutions organizing art and educational events.
I believe in nowadays world where everything is given to us ready, when we can quickly buy dozens of the same manufactured objects the importance of practice our unique hand skills have new and very important value. After all initially it is our hands that created this beautifull world that surrounds us. Resurecting our skills, encouraging people to discover it anew and use it in modern life is extremely important for condition of human being and for the future of our planet.
During the workshops I organize and at my work I love to focus on how through collaborating on projects, observation, sharing ideas, and giving feedback, all of us can enhance our skills, learn from one another and relax. Art and ceramics is very enriching experience as well as building a sense of community and self worth.
Apart of Art field that I love I am naturotherapist and I look at the world and people through lenses of traditional Chinese medicine. I feel very good when close to our mother earth the essence of it is my love of Lanzarote. I love my garden, talk to my plants. I am mum to two amazing rescued Greyhounds with whom I explore the world.
