Do you remember those school sports days? Egg and Spoon race, Tug of War, Sack Race! Well it’s time to relive the thrills and spills of Primary School. All you need to bring is your school spirit!
FoFS (Friends of Fishwick and St. Matthews) Collective are an established community group with over ten years experience of organising projects and events. We have an amazing community Green space in ‘Paul’s Pad’ at Truro Place that is perfect for community events. We will hold a classic ‘school sports day’ event for all the family with all equipment provided and refreshments and snacks to keep you going. This crowdfunder will allow the group to buy the equipment required and re-use it each year to become an annual event.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
The project will give local families access to a free fun event that will be repeated year on year. It will make use of a wonderful community green space while promoting healthy activities and community participation. It is hoped that the event will encourage further participation in FoFS activities on the future.
Steps to get it done:
FoFS Collective (Friends of Fishwick and St. Matthews) have a long record of successful community projects from simple fun days to creating strategic local plans and a new community Green space.
