The idea
As a growing club, we are playing more cricket. As a result, there is increase usage of our ground. Enhancing some of our maintenance machinery will save valuable time each week and help us to sustain and grow our current cricket offerings.
An electric scarifier would replace our manual scarifier. This is used to help prepare cricket pitches and improve the quality of the surface.
A new rotary mover would replace an existing mower that is coming to the end of its life cycle. This is used to cut the cricket square.

Why it's a great idea
The purchase of new maintenance machinery will enable Uttoxeter Cricket Club to continue to offer a diverse range of cricketing opportunities to members young and old.
Our ground is maintained by a dedicated team of volunteers and having some new equipment will increase efficiency.
