The idea
Three Degrees Festival 2026 is a youth-led community music festival that merges art, curiosity & activism. Co-produced with EcoCollective, a team of young producers aged 14-21, the festival aims to ignite community engagement around climate action.
Rooted in the concept that “three degrees of temperature rise would be disastrous, but our three degrees of influence can make a difference” the event will have a dynamic programme featuring climate experts, musicians & artists. Music workshops will take place in local primary & SEND schools & with More Music’s diverse groups, resulting in performances at the event.
Through artistic collaborations, audiences are invited to explore the positive climate action they can take, while taking part in a fun and engaging event. Based in Morecambe's West End, the Three Degrees Festival fosters creativity, inclusivity & environmental awareness, providing a platform for voices young and old to inspire change together.
What we'll deliver
- Deliver 10 x EcoCollective sessions for Young Producers aged 14 - 21 to plan and deliver the festival
- Run 26 x creative music and climate action workshops in primary and SEND schools
