Replacement cupboard following storm damage

Our cupboard sustained catastrophic damage following weeks of storms and bad weather. We have worked through our busiest period with what we could salvage. We desperately need more suitable housing for our cupboard long term. Something that will not only stand up to the great British weather but also offer a greater variety of foods including those needing refrigeration and be fully assessable to all. With the average family shopping bill at an whopping £129 a week, many families throughout our community are feeling the pinch. Especially when those extra bills come along! Our aim at The Cupboard is to reduce that bill, even by just a little for as many families as possible. In addition to providing access to food for those facing food poverty.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
* The Cupboards are self-service and open 7am to 10pm, everyday, 365 days a year. * We are at United Reformed Church, Chester Road, Ellesmere Port, CH65 6RY. Near the Ellesmere Port Hospital. * The Cupboard is regularly topped up through the day with bread, fruit, vegetables, pastries, and much more. *Daily limits are on the blackboard. Some items are restricted to ensure we help as many families as possible. These limits are strictly enforced and those not abiding to the limits will regrettably be asked not to visit again. *CCTV is in operation for everyones peace of mind. *The Cupboard is run entirely by volunteers, and without our amazing team, this would not be possible. *Food from The Cupboard is free however donations towards our increasing running costs are very much appreciated.
