The idea
The timber, upper level will be removed and a new roof added. There are two small storage 'rooms' downstairs with an internal wall in the middle. This design will be kept as it is but the room on the left hand side will become a small workshop. The room on the left will not change and still be used for storing bags of loam, grass seed etc. The equipment, which is currently stored in the left room and upstairs, will be sorted out & stored in a new shipping container positioned nearby.
A window will go at the front to allow plenty of light into the workshop area. The two green timber doors will be replaced by more secure doors.
What we'll deliver
- A more attractive structure
- A less cluttered space
Why it's a great idea
The single level structure will feature a new roof, window & door so will enhance the appearance of the area under the trees at the corner of the ground.
The groundsmen will no longer have to maintain machines whilst on their hands and knees on wet grass. Also, parts will no longer be lost in the grass.
The building is not ideal as a place to store things. The floor space is too small so heaving heavy bags of loam & equipment in and out is difficult. It can be dangerous too if someone falls while attempting to reach for something.
Steps to get it done
- Putting in the window & doors
