The idea
The Phoenix Festival is a vibrant, multi-cultural arts and music event held annually in Cirencester's Abbey Grounds over the August bank holiday weekend. Attracting over 20,000 attendees, the festival celebrates community spirit with an inclusive atmosphere where all generations come together. The Phoenix Festival is free to enter, removing financial barriers, being inclusive to all. Established in 2013 by a local youth group, it features an impressive line up ranging from local talent to national special guests. Its Creative Wellbeing Zone highlights the link between artistic activities and mental health, while the arena showcases performances by local groups and organisations.
