The idea
The kitchen in the community centre has not been upgraded for over 20 years. We will take out the old kitchen and replace it with a modern stainless steel one, including a dishwasher to save water. The new kitchen will include an instant hot water boiler for tea and coffee.
With the new kitchen we can hold cookery lessons, teaching people how to cook healthy meals on a budget. Our cooks have helped with the design ensuring we are getting the most out of the space we have available. The new kitchen will also enable us to extend our offer as a warm hub in one of the most deprived wards in Ellesmere Port

Why it's a great idea
A new kitchen will enable us to provide more meals for residents and people visiting the centre. Within the new kitchen we will have a dishwasher that uses less water; thereby saving water and energy. All the equipment will be energy efficient. A new kitchen will extend our offer of a warm safe space offering help, advice and support to local residents.
