The idea
"Somerford Keynes Coronation Big Lunch" is a captivating street party celebrating King Charles' Coronation on Sunday, 7th May. As part of the UK-wide celebrations, our event will take place in the heart of Somerford Keynes, bringing together the community for a day of fun and camaraderie.
Our vibrant street party features a bring-and-share lunch with BBQ, exhilarating live music, and a bouncy castle that the kids will love. This event is designed to create a sense of unity within the community, giving everyone a chance to share their excitement for the Coronation and create lasting memories.
In addition to the festivities, we are supporting Winston's Wish (https://www.winstonswish.org), a remarkable charity that helps grieving children and young people cope with the death of someone close. Our goal is to raise £280 to cover the cost of live music and generate additional funds for Winston's Wish through donations from local residents and businesses.
