Currently we supply tea, coffee, hot chocolate, herb teas and fruit squash for refreshments at our social club. We would like to invite local shops to donate their unwanted fruit and veg to us to make delicious smoothies for our members. We are part of a local FairShare scheme and occasionally have had some fruit and veg donations. With a new smoothie maker we could create some lovely healthy drinks for our members to help them live a more fruitful life...

Why it's a great idea:

We would like to increase the healthiness of the refreshments provided at our drop-in club. In turn this will help to reduce food waste locally when we source ingredients from shops who cannot use this food and are about to throw it away.

Steps to get it done:

• One smoothie for each member by December 2017
