The idea

In view of the COVID 19 crisis, very little cricket and sport is anticipated to be played at Newton this summer. Income generated over the summer would in normal times be used to ensure the longevity of the Club and invest in new equipment / facilities e.g. new sightscreens, replacement weather proof equipment and a defibralator to protect against / assist with cardiac arrest emergencies.

What we'll deliver

  • To purchase 4 new sightscreens
  • To purchase 4 new weather protection covers
  • To purchase a new defibralator.
  • To donate 25% raised to the local NHS.

Why it's a great idea

Once the ability to return to playing and participating in sport again, completion of the project will ensure 1st class facilities for all. Men, Women, Boys, Girls. Facilities can be enjoyed by all of the local Newton and Earlestown Community.

Steps to get it done

  • Buying 2 of the 4 sightscreens.
  • Buying the Defibralator
  • Buying the remaining 2 sightscreens
  • Buying a weather protection covers.
