Our vision is to create a sustainable market based in Lambeth which serves the Angell Town, Vassall & Coldharbour communities. The concept of the market is to promote sustainable living through the produce and promotion of affordable healthy and well being. We would like to lead on efforts to increase a better quality of life within our communities and support making our borough greener. We would like to collaborate with other community projects, bringing local green and energy efficiency projects to the fore to create ‘It’s Your Local Market’ Providing opportunities for local community residents, projects and businesses to participate and benchmark locally produced and manufactured products made in Lambeth.

The objective for this market is to regenerate our communities, provide local employment, affordable living and accessiblity with regeneration activities to benefit the community. A market place where people can contribute, donate and volunteer ensuring the ethics of ‘sustainability’ is retained within the organisation, product, services or resource. The market will not only increase relations but serve its community by offering difference by endorsing the significance of ‘sustainable living, minimising our carbon foot print and be managed by the locals within the communities of Lambeth, taking control to make a change.

The purpose of the market is to endorse the significant of ‘sustainable living’ and the traders will have the opportunity to demonstrate their healthy living and sustainable product or service on topics of household domestic, personal care, fashion, arts & crafts, food and the environment. The market needs to both benefit the Lambeth residents, visitors, existing business and community issues. Traders will have the opportunity to view environmental issues through workshop demonstrations, exhibits and information services to protect the environment.
