The idea

With news from the ECB that there will be no cricket at least until July 1st Purton CC is left with no income and bills to pay.

Members of Purton CC committee, adult and junior sections, are going to be individually cycling 109 miles over the space of 7 days in order to raise funds for the club.

109 miles is the distance from Purton to every ground in the Wiltshire Division 1 cricket league.

Due to Covid-19 there has been no income so far for the cricket club this season. ECB will support £100 of our target when we hit £100.

Why it's a great idea

With all our events cancelled and the season yet to begin, we have no income and still need to pay the bills.

This is our 200th Anniversary and the club needs to survive this crisis.
