The idea
Halton Juniors FC started in 2010 with a handful of players and some enthusiastic parents. Our focus has always been Safety and Enjoyment of Football. It has since grown to over 250 players with 50 coaches and a dedicated committee. Whilst the success of the club is fantastic achievement it has required significant investment. We are now in a position where we need extra investment to create a sustainable infrastructure for the future of the club. Our plan incorporates bringing the many pitches we use up to standard so that they can maintain the amount of game time needed.
This investment will ensure that the club can keep fees affordable and avoid players dropping out of football.
What we'll deliver
- Improvements to the 2 pitches at the Centre @ Halton Ground
- Improvements to the pitch at Arkholme
- Improvements to the pitch at Bolton Le Sands
- Improvements to the pitch at Nether Kellet
- Affordable player fees to cover training and match costs
- Expansion of Girls football at Halton Juniors FC
Why it's a great idea
Participation in sport is key to the Well-Being and development of children. This investment will allow us to retain the existing players we have with affordable fees and protect the future capacity of the club through improved pitches which can facilitate more matches and training sessions and making football available to more people in the community.
